Ken was a landscape contractor for 48 years specializing in high end residential work. He has a long list of accomplishments .
A few of his accomplishments were:
· Landscaped and designed the Seattle Home show feature garden for many years
· Was on 3 vocational school horticulture boards
· Past president of the landscape contractors association
· Winner of the King county environmental award
· Numerous award winning projects
· 6 years on the Bothell park board
· Was a judge for the national future farmer of America contest
Over his career Ken has installed hundreds of gardens, done high end maintenance on estates and condos, consulting and design. Landscape consulting: 2-3 hour consulting sessions designed to help homeowners with design questions and ideas, problem solving, and product selection. The consulting sessions are the first step towards a design or do it yourself project.
Design: Ken has been designing beautiful gardens for 48 years. Kens skills for picking the right plants and materials for your situation and his skill for creative design will translate into the homeowner having a beautiful garden geared to their individual taste and needs.
Do It Yourself packages: The do it yourself package includes a consultation, design or sketch as needed, plant material and placement and the general layout of the garden. Ken helps select the other material for your needs such as sod,topsoil,pavers and walls etc. The end result is a beautiful professional looking garden at a fraction of the cost. Ken was written up in sunset magazine many years ago for the concept. Kens old company can help you with parts of the project that either you do not want to do or don’t have the skills for.
